The Company
Our client is a dynamic and growing agribusiness business seeking a Finance Lead / Finance Business Partner to provide high-level financial and management accounting support. This is a critical role, supporting commercial decision-making through insightful financial analysis, performance benchmarking, and strategic investment reporting. This role will start as a 6 month temp with the view for the role to become permanent, our client is going through large growth and expanding quickly.
The Role
This role will be reporting the CFO, your duties will include but will not be limited to;
- Prepare, input, and analyse financial reports for company and investment trusts (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Provide timely and accurate financial insights to support commercial decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and investment performance reviews.
- Conduct variance analysis, benchmarking, and financial modeling.
- Develop and enhance finance processes to drive efficiency.
- Work closely with the treasury function and support ad hoc finance projects.
- Foster collaboration across finance, investment, and operational teams.
Your Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or related field.
- Preferably CA or CPA Qualified with experience in a Finance Business Partnering / Commercial Finance / Management Accounting capacity.
- You have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, can multitask and can set priorities accordingly.
- Willing to travel to sites in the northern Victoria
- You enjoy communicating with financial and non-financial stakeholders and have the talent to influence and build relationships.
- You enjoy presenting commercial and financial outcomes to senior financial and operational stakeholders.
