Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the payroll team at a leading school based in Toorak. This role will be permanent and full-time, with 5 days on-site, and easily accessible via train and tram.

Description
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;
- Payroll Processing : Manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant awards, agreements, and legislation.
- Employee Records & Payments : Maintain employee records, process salary sacrifice payments, and reconcile superannuation contributions.
- Collaboration & Compliance : Work with HR and Finance to ensure payroll accuracy, reporting, and adherence to internal controls.
- Employee Support : Address payroll queries, resolve discrepancies, and provide guidance on payroll policies.
- End-of-Year & Compliance Reporting : Assist with payroll tax, superannuation, audits, and financial reporting requirements.
- Payroll System & Process Improvement : Maintain payroll systems, implement process enhancements, and support system updates.
- Leave & Entitlement Management : Track and reconcile leave balances, manage TiL records, and oversee time and attendance data.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have end-to-end experience with payroll (full function)
- Be experienced with Synergetic, or someone who is willing and motivated to learn new processes and systems.
- Work efficiently within a team environment, able to communicate and liaise with all stakeholders of the business.
- Be available to work on-site 5-days a week in Toorak
