Key responsibilities
- Direct initial interface with clients and manage stakeholders.
- Collect, evaluate, and understand the requirements from users, product owners, and stakeholders
- Identify, investigate and analyse business processes to solve business problems.
- Incorporate designer, user and product owner feedback into the process.
- Formulate and produce specifications to create system and software solutions.
- Deploy functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system.
- Create user and training documentation, and conduct formal training classes.
- Describe requirements and bugs for use by system developers.
- Use data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software.
- Act as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process, to both client and project delivery team.
- Produce detailed documents regarding client needs such as Executive Summaries / Business Plans / User stories / Acceptance criteria etc.
- Facilitation of scoping and business priority setting for large or complex changes.
- Liaise with client and project team to identify needs, project planning, cost estimation and commercial negotiation in the client engagement process.
- Knowledge and relationship handover to other team members.
Additional responsibilities
You will also be required to develop Project Management and Testing skills as follows:
- Project planning and deployment of resources to ICT projects.
- Work closely and manage project resources to deliver the project on budget, on time and meet business objectives and values.
- Responsible for meeting project milestones and deliverables and ensure high quality outcome for clients.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information with client project team.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
- Manage risks and opportunities.
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
- Prepare and maintain project budgets.
- Monitor and manage working hours, plans and project expenditures.
- Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
- Provide input to project, customer engagement and presale process.
- Develop and maintain documentation
Report to support management objectives.
- Ensure incidents and problems/solutions are up to date.
- Ensure all technical and non-technical documentation is up to date.
- Contribute to management reports as required.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Information system or a related field
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Strong customer relationship building skills. Able to quickly develop relationships and credibility with clients at all levels and maintain those relationships for the duration of the project lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment, enthusiasm and drive with the ability to work through conflicting pressures and priorities.
