About the Company
Our client is a boutique high-end residential home builder with a niche focus on knock down re-builds, complete home renovations, high-end finishes and innovative designs. Producing between 30-40 projects annually, their clientele is primarily focused in the Inner West, North Shore and Northern Beaches market, working with third and fourth home buyers.
They are rapidly becoming recognised as one of the most reputable builders in the KDR market and are seeking a Construction Manager who can take their business to the next level.
About the Role
We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills, a natural leader with the ability to support a team of experienced site managers. Strong technical knowledge and experience within the architectural and custom building space will be essential.
As this is a newly created role, we are looking for a self-starter who can identify improvements and the overall performance of the construction team. The Construction Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships, leading and supporting not only the construction team, they will work closely with the business owners to develop strategies for ongoing improvement and development.
What You Need
- Certificate III in Carpentry is essential for this role
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Construction Manager within the residential construction industry - prior experience with KDR's or architectural homes will be highly regarded
- Prior experience managing a team of construction professionals and site based staff
- Strong understanding of the Australian National Construction Codes and Building Code of Australia
- Prior experience implementing and managing programs and construction management systems
- A personable self-starter with the ability to lead and mentor a team of diverse individuals
