My client is looking for a QA Manager who is keen for a challenge; can be strategic and tactical at the same time and thrives in a dynamic & evolving environment. You will also need to bring a level of urgency and pace to ensure quality products are delivered to customers.
This organisation is a high sku-count and complex FMCG business in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne who are in a turnaround phase for their Supply Chain and need an accomplished Planning Manager to steer the ship.
We are seeking someone who has experience across:
  • Leading QA & QC teams within an FMCG, Packaging or Chemicals environment to deliver a standard of excellence.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and accreditations e.g. HACCP & ISO.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining robust quality management systems (QMS) and training of processes.
  • Conducting regular audits and risk assessments, providing actionable insights for complex production processes.
  • Collaborating with Production to drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Overseeing product quality from raw materials to finished goods.
  • Customer facing experience - managed customer complaints and non-conformance investigations.
  • Liaising with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Quality Management position within a high-sku FMCG or Manufacturing environment.
  • Track record in delivering process and systems improvement with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Expertise in HACCP, ISO and other relevant food safety standards and legislation.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
