About the role

We provide a unique range of products to help clients, and the industry, be more effective, efficient and economical while managing ever-increasing cyber security risks and maintaining compliance. ​Domestic and global financial institutions leverage our corporate strength, commercial approach, risk and compliance practices, expertise and service excellence in debt markets,

managed funds and digital solutions to enable our clients success. As Quality Assurance Associate within Document Custody, you will be responsible for support management monitoring service quality, compliance and data governance obligations. In addition, you will be responsible for:

Quality Assurance & Audits

  • Complete monthly quality reviews on incoming security documents processed across clients
  • Complete quality reviews for new starters being trained in verification and data entry
  • Coordinate and manage the uplift of security packets for client securitisation audits as requested

Compliance Support

  • Respond to Investigations team enquiries including managing any follow up with clients attending to legal notices or otherwise on Perpetual’s behalf
  • Respond to Client Advocacy team enquiries including managing any follow up with clients attending to complaints or otherwise on Perpetual’s behalf
  • Coordinate suspicious matter reporting on behalf of Debt Market Solutions
  • Maintenance of Document Custody’s policies and procedures
  • Review Client Connect Dashboards ensuring obligations are completed on time
  • Ensuring all operational risk controls are maintained in line with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct all assigned CSA tests on time
  • Communicate effectively on issues / problems to Senior Management and ensure proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolution

Data and Vendor Governance

  • Complete monthly data reconciliations across network folders to identify records for deletion
  • Ensure Content Manager is updated with accurate information including but not limited to maintenance of locations tables and system import requests
  • Provide support into Vendor Management activities for Document Custody.
  • Perform regular review of team functions identifying operational trends, issues, and areas for improvement
  • Appropriate handling of confidential and sensitive information.

About you We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Financial Services preferably within a Mortgage operations role (highly desirable)
  • Previous experience in conducting audits and quality reviews, with a strong understanding of audit methodologies and best practices (highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of operational tasks and client service including experience working with mortgage documents
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, and data governance within the mortgage industry
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent client management skills and relationship management experience
  • Intermediate Excel Skills (highly desirable).
