Full time position available for a Project Administrator in a busy, well established, family owned and operated business in the locksmith and commercial door hardware industries

The Team & Role
The Project Administrator is responsible for managing the daily functions of a project by organising and overseeing the fulfillment of designated project tasks, ensuring compliance with timelines, budget constraints, maintaining project documentation and schedules in alignment with the proposed scope.
You will be part of the team tendering for multiple projects throughout Queensland. Working within a young dynamic team you will be provided with training and support to ensure you have every opportunity to succeed in the role. Based in-house at our Salisbury QLD premises, you will come on board as a full-time permanent employee. Work from home option is not available
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Review, develop & submit tenders
- Liaise with contractors, project team and other senior staff
- Accurately prepare estimating costs
- Participate in tender meetings and progress meetings
- Develop and maintain stakeholder engagement
- Update budgets and schedules in accordance with variations where required
About You
Your experience as a project administrator, or in a similar role, will put you in a great position to succeed in this role. You will also benefit from having:
- Knowledge of the door hardware industry
- Competence in the use of computer programs
- Experience in breaking down the estimate and providing relevant costings and key information to the management team – preferable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and strong desire to grow in your career
- Great commitment and reliability
