About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrator to join our Academies Team at the Islamic College of Brisbane as the Academy Administrator - Sport. You will play a key part in supporting the school's sport program and the administrative needs of the Academy. You'll be responsible for a range of duties to ensure the smooth running of the sports program, from managing athlete records to coordinating event logistics. The role is a full-time role, Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm, during school term time.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of student-athlete enrolments, attendance, and progress
- Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of sporting events, trainings, and competitions
- Provide administrative support to the sports coaching team, including managing communications and correspondence
- Assist with the promotion and marketing of the sports program to prospective students and families
- Liaise with other school departments to ensure effective integration of the sports program
- Undertake general administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and report preparation
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within an educational or sports setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and experience with student information systems
- A passion for supporting and promoting youth sports and education
- Current Working With Children Blue Card Registration
