About the role
Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity available for a Senior Production Operator to join us in a permanent, full time Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) or Drive-in-Drive-Out (DIDO) position based in the Surat Basin.
Working a 15/13 roster, the Senior Production Operator will be responsible to operate and maintain CSG well site equipment, gathering systems, pipelines, water storage facilities and associated infrastructure.
Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
- Safe operation of Coal Seam Gas (CSG) wells, gathering systems, water storage facilities and associated infrastructure
- Troubleshooting, fault finding and optimisation of production equipment
- Basic maintenance of surface equipment and facilities, including vegetation regrowth control
- Compilation of daily reports
- Maintaining maintenance logs
- Coordination of Contractor activities
For those living within 4 hours of Wandoan, a Drive-In-Drive-Out (DIDO) option is available for the successful candidate.
About You
- As someone who has significant experience working with the safe operation of CSG wells, gathering systems, water storage facilities and associated infrastructure, you will also be familiar with the operation of electric drive PCP artificial lift systems, VSD's, RTU's and proficient in the use of SCADA systems.
- We value strong working relationships and will bring a positive attitude to our crew as you will be an integral member of the Operations team as a custodian of Senex's Surat operating assets.
- A Certificate III in Process Plant Operations is essential for your application to be successful as well as being able to demonstrate your experience working within Computer Managed Maintenance Systems (CMMS). Bonus points if you have relevant experience using MEX and/or SAP.
- You will be someone who will openly share their knowledge and mentor trainees in the work place and foster a proactive and positive culture.
