Description:
The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for the following:
- Managing a small team
- Conducting all necessary training to keep the team's skills and knowledge up to date.
- Ensuring that all necessary financial controls are in place and functioning properly.
- Working closely with the management team to share reports and analysis findings.
- Managing and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports.
- Conducting financial analyses and reports as requested by management.
- Overseeing and managing the company's financial systems.
- Managing and overseeing all vendor and supplier relations and negotiations.
Requirements:
A successful Finance Business Partner should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA/CPA Qualification
- Experience in people leadership or an appetite to lead people
- Ideally has experience within the big-4 or a large complex organisation within the utilities space
- Experience with a large ERP/complex system
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong communication skills
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and financial management software.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
