Prosthetic, Orthotic & Podiatry Services are looking for a Podiatrist- Advanced Clinical to join their team. The Prosthetic, Orthotic and Podiatry Services Department is a multi-disciplinary clinically based Allied Health Department, providing high level clinical and consultancy prosthetic, orthotic and podiatry services to the specialist Acute and Rehabilitation Departments of the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Metro South Hospital and Health Service.

About the Role

  • Lead the development and knowledge translation of evidence based clinical practices, procedures, protocols and education materials to improve the delivery of Podiatric intervention, in relation to speciality areas.
  • Apply a high level of knowledge of contemporary trends in health workforce and service delivery and identify in consultation with the senior staff and executives to identify and introduce further opportunities to introduce and sustain innovative models of care.
  • Provide leadership and change management to support local implementation of innovative service models by engaging stakeholders, developing appropriate educational support materials and resources and effectively communicating new developments and outcomes.
