About the Group
This role, providing Senior Advisory support for Disability Inclusion Implementation across all Southwest Victoria schools, is located in the Student Wellbeing & Engagement Branch, South Western Victoria Region of Schools and Regional Services. The implementation team collaboratively with schools and Areas to support the delivery of Disability Inclusion reform across the Region.
About the Role
Disability Inclusion Senior Implementation Advisors are part of the Regional Implementation Team that supports the implementation and delivery of Disability Inclusion across the Region. They will engage deeply with schools and Area teams, providing direct advice and support training to the broader educational workforces.
Attributes
The successful applicant will have:
A strong and practical understanding of the Disability Inclusion Reforms and be able to provide specialised expertise and knowledge of the project and policy implementation. The successful applicant may have worked directly on the Disability Inclusion reforms in schools or have a strong Disability Inclusion policy background. Importantly the successful applicant will have a proven record of exceptional stakeholder management skills, strategic thinking, effective communication, and adept problem-solving abilities. Applicants must be able to effectively manage a range of stakeholders whilst promoting inclusion and building capability across the region. Your capacity for collaboration, navigating complex issues, driving continuous improvement and cultivating genuine relationships will be pivotal for your success.
Qualifications and Experience
• Desirable: Relevant experience in schools and/or education system
• Desirable: Relevant tertiary qualification in education, disability, allied health or other relevant field
The successful applicant will be required to provide a current Working With Children Check or VIT registration.

Further Information
This role can be based in any of the SWVR Corporate offices. Please note that due to our current active rollout Areas (Brimbank Melton and Wimmera South West), travel is required across these Areas for face-to-face engagement with school and Area stakeholders.
There are currently three fixed term positions available with end dates ranging from October 2025 to June 2026.
