The Opportunity:
This exciting opportunity is part of a newly designed structure within the People & Culture function, demonstrating the strategic initiative to elevate the P&C reporting and reward analytics capabilities. The Reward and Reporting Manager leads the design, implementation, and administration of the organization's reward strategy, ensuring they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives. This role also oversees P&C reporting and analytics, driving data-driven decisions across the employee lifecycle. The Reward and Reporting Manager will leverage systems like SAP and SpinifexIT to provide insights into workforce analytics, reward, and retention. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to partner closely with the Head of People Services and Reward on strategic initiatives across P&C, enhance the reporting responsibilities and contribute towards developing a high-performing team.
Specifically, you will:
* Partner effectively with business leaders and P&C Business Partners to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions and insights. Communicate complex data clearly and concisely.
* Oversee all P&C reporting and analytics, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely data to support strategic decision-making. This includes workforce analytics, reward analysis, turnover reporting, and other key metrics.
* Lead the effort to streamline and consolidate P&C reporting, aiming to reduce the current reliance on multiple reports to a more efficient and insightful single report where possible. This includes identifying key metrics, automating data collection, and designing user-friendly dashboards.
* Manage the annual salary review process, including salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and merit increase recommendations. Oversee the position classification framework across salaried and waged staff, ensuring ongoing accuracy and consistency.
* Lead and develop the P&C Insights and Reward Analyst, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
* Contribute to strategic P&C projects, such as WGEA reporting, gender pay gap analysis, job architecture implementation, and other initiatives requiring reward expertise and data analysis.
* Proactively identify and implement improvements within the SAP landscape to optimise efficiency. Lead group reporting processes, including headcount, new hires and turnover reporting, ESG and WGEA reporting and support Group Finance reporting requirements.
* Serve as the subject matter expert for escalated issues from P&C and/or payroll
What you will need
This role is critical for the P&C function, requiring strong leadership skills, a strategic can-do mindset, and deep expertise in reward, reporting and developing efficiencies in ways of working.
* Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting, including experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, SpinifexIT) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* Exceptional Excel skills are essential.
* Proven business partnering and collaboration skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and trust with stakeholders.
* Well-rounded skills in influencing, negotiation and excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
* Extensive experience in reward design and administration, including salary benchmarking, Hay job evaluation methodology, and sales incentive plan design.
* Continuous improvement mindset and a desire to make things simple, yet effective.
* Proven experience in people analytics, reporting and data analysis (essential)
* A passion for working across reward, data and reporting.
* Learning agility, needs to be able to learn quickly can work independently and collaboratively
* Strong attention to detail
