About the Role
- Extensive stakeholder engagement skills across government, Non-Government Organisations, and community members.
- Ability to Chair multiple steering committees and networks including presenting at sessions, developing slides, agendas and sending minutes.
- Ability to analyse data and narrative reports and provide succinct feedback to leadership at PHN.
- Ability to work to reporting timeframes and deadlines.
- Acknowledgement this portfolio is primarily focused Suicide Prevention and Mental Health.
- Previous history working with First Nations peoples or organisations highly regarded
- Experience in contract management and ability to monitor performance of service provider across multiple programs
- Considerable risk management skills, including identification and workshopping solutions.
- Strong ability to be responsive to competing priorities across different programs or duties.
- Have a demonstrated ability to take the lead in the planning, implementation and evaluation of projects within the health sector, to effectively achieve results, using standard project management techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to provide supervision, direction and support to team members to achieve project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including influencing, negotiation and consultation skills, with the ability to build both internal and external relationships at all levels of the organisation and the community.
- Proven ability to think conceptually, analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutions and strategies within organisational constraints and budgets.
- Proven ability to implement change initiatives internally and externally within a complex health environment.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and OneDrive), project management tools and relevant databases
