Leveraging your expertise in security assessments, you’ll monitor network traffic for any suspicious activities and regularly perform security assessments and risk analysis to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
You’ll have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and can communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
You will aid in the development and implementation of comprehensive security policies, procedures, and protocols and perform internal audits to verify the effectiveness of our security measures. Utilising your incident response skills, you will handle and resolve various security incidents, such as malware attacks, data breaches, and cyber-espionage.

What can you expect to be doing?
As a Cyber Security Analyst, you'll be the go-to person for keeping our systems and networks safe. You will identify potential threats and vulnerabilities and implement effective measures to protect our organisation against cyber-attacks.
- Conducting Security Assessments: regularly perform security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Developing Security Policies: support the creation and implementation of security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect our networks and systems.
- Responding to Incidents: investigate and respond to security incidents, including malware and phishing attacks, data breaches, and cyber-espionage.
- Performing Audits: conduct internal audits and assurance checks to ensure the effectiveness of our security controls and practices.
- Monitoring Network Traffic: monitor network traffic for signs of suspicious activity and take necessary actions.
- Ensuring Compliance: ensure our organisation complies with relevant data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
What do you need to bring?
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cyber security principles, techniques and technologies including familiarity with security frameworks (Essential Eight, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) and tools (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM solutions).
- Proven experience in managing security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence with the ability to analyse complex threats and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for staying updated with the latest cyber security trends.
