OZ Design is one of Australia's leading lifestyle retailers providing high quality Furniture and Homewares for over 40 years. We are an Australian-owned family business operating over 40 stores in Eastern Australia.
We are currently seeking Full Time Warehouse Team Members available to work Monday to Friday at our Wingfield DC.
About the Role
Your day will see you operating counterbalance forklift , rf scanning equipment, you will be unloading trucks & trailers, checking off goods to confirm correct stock levels & any if any damages, completing home deliveries to customers and putting away stock into locations. Also, you will help with maintaining the cleanliness of the work areas at all times with your team.
We are looking for people that not only ensure their work is completed to the highest standard, but can do so whilst balancing different priorities, tight deadlines, and unexpected challenges. Because these roles can be physically challenging, we need operators that are able to remain productive and energetic throughout their shift. A love for hands-on, physical work is a must, as is a strong sense of team spirit and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities Include

  • Receiving bulk loads of freight and checking quantity, quality and correct stock arrival.
  • Unloading trucks and trailers with forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
  • Assisting customers with loading goods into their vehicle.
  • Stock put aways into designated locations.
  • Home deliveries.
  • Use of scanning equipment.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of your working section.
  • Working in a safe and efficient manner.

Selection Criteria

  • Must be able to work a Monday to Friday roster.
  • LO/LF License highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident and engaging communication skills.
  • Great attitude and a want to succeed.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
