Roles and Responsibilities- Primary responsibilities include execution of Incident management, Service Requests, analysis of problem records; liaise between project, integration team and customer
- Activities related to Project Execution, Data Migration Planning / Analysis, Product upgradation, License upgradation, Simulation Environment, Set-up for Testing, Process Simplification, Integration with Third party products, ISO standards
- Understand the client requirement and come up with the detail plan for discovery and execution
- Agreeing on technical roadmap with clients and advising clients on future developments.
- Analyze and review the current system customizations and provide gap analysis against proposed solution upgrades.
Qualification, Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
- At least 08 to 10 years of experience with SKILLS SET
Mandatory Skill Set
- Strong in software development and maintenance.
- Experienced in .NET, SQL Server/Oracle. Proven experience in writing and debugging in .NET, SQL/Oracle packages
- Have very good exposure to any of the Mine planning & designing application support (Vulcan, Xeras etc.)
- Through knowledge of the application landscape (COTS, In-house etc.) and hands on experience on migrations & upgradations etc.
- Should have experience in application support at an L2 / L3 level in a 24/7 support setup and ready to be working on rotation-based shifts.
- Strong technical experience in configuration, deployment, testing of application software
- Ability to quickly understand complex technical environments and take ownership of the technical work.
- Track-record of being able to provide hands-on technical leadership to other team members and 3rd party contractors.
- Willingness to take up On-Call support beyond business hours
- Determining technical requirements, solutions and developing technical work plans to achieve the outcomes
- Hands-on role performing technical design, configuration, testing and deployment activities in the domains listed above
- Sequencing and assigning technical tasks to other team members to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Making technical decisions to expedite delivery within the assurance framework
- Liaising with team members, project managers, vendors and business users as required to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to the necessary standard.
- Basic knowledge of AWS / Azure cloud skills (preferable)
- Has Mining industry experience or exp in resource sector
- Experience on supporting Labs & Geoscience application
- Should have the basic support process knowledge and must have been part of ITIL driven process
Preferable Skill Set
- At least 5~8 years of experience in Mining/Oil & Gas Industry
- Exposure to ServiceNow (or similar) tool/Environment.
- Should have a keen eye towards turnaround time to meet aggressive service level agreements
- Good interpersonal and customer-facing skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Flexible, co-operative and resilient
- Possess good analytical skills and logical skills
- Able to work effectively under pressure and frequently changing priorities
- Experienced in supporting Operational Technologies like OPC, SCADA (preferably Rockwell Factory Talk, MES
- Good understanding of standards & protocols like ISA S88, ISA S95, OPC etc.
- Good understanding of Industrial Automation Systems and/or Shop Floor Systems
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
