About the Role
We have an opportunity to work for as a Family and Domestic Violence (FDV) Team Lead, providing support for our Safe at Home, Coordinated Service Response and Belmont Safeguarding teams. This role will be split across these three separate locations as well as work from our head office in Northbridge.
This is a full-time permanent position working 38 hours per week. The successful candidate will also take part in an on-call work roster, attracting an on-call allowance.
What we’re looking for
The successful applicants will be required to meet the following criteria:
- Ability to lead a successful team within the program area of Family Domestic Violence.
- Significant understanding of, and commitment to the Purpose, Vision and Values of Ruah.
- Experience in direct service delivery to address client needs in the program area of Family Domestic Violence.
- Experience in managing for the achievement of client outcomes in the area of Family Domestic Violence.
- Strong ability to respond in a timely manner to address competing client needs.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including strong skills in negotiation and consultation.
- Experience in developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships and stakeholder relationships.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to confidently engage in public speaking and conducting presentations.
The following criteria are considered desirable:
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of diversity and social inclusion- including gender, sexuality, disability, cultural, age, and linguistic diversity and Aboriginal culture.

- A salary aligned with Level 5 of the Ruah Enterprise Agreement (and the SCHADS Award), starting at $97,689, plus additional payment for on-call and overtime if applicable.
