We are currently seeking experienced Care Workers to provide daily support to our residents at Bethanie Dalyellup Aged Care Home. Bethanie Dalyellup is our newest site, with 120 beds across six small houses providing 24 hour care for people with diverse needs including dementia, palliative care and high care requirements.

You will support our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and wellbeing is maintained while building positive and professional relationships with residents and team members.

These roles are being offered on a permanent part time basis, working at least three shifts per week with the following shifts available:

  • Mornings 7am – 1pm or 3pm
  • Afternoons 3pm – 9pm or 4pm - 8pm
  • Night shifts 11pm – 7am

Our Care Workers are an integral part of the care and support we provide to our residents. Applicants with at least twelve months experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.

About You

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
  • Previous experience working in an aged care or hospital environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well as a team and also independently
  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
  • Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
  • Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one)

The Role

  • Assess care plans and ensure residents’ needs are met
  • Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
  • Deliver personal care tasks (including toileting and showering) with dignity and respect
  • Ensure residents’ rooms and the facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
