The Role
The Resource Recovery and Education Unit is looking for a new Strategic Circular Economy Coordinator to lead the planning and delivery of resource recovery solutions with a focus on local circular economy solutions for Greater Bendigo.The City is working to better manage our waste and resources. We plan to reduce waste to landfill and offer new solutions to recycle, reuse or recover wasted materials. Part of this is to establish a local circular economy. About You The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and comprehension in reducing material footprint, recycling and organics knowledge. You will have the ability to provide leadership and direction to a diverse team of educational and administration officers. You will have skills in stakeholder management, contracts, project management and budgeting. If you hold formal qualifications in Environmental Management/Science/sustainability or have specialist Local Government experience, we welcome your application. A satisfactory police records check and Working with Children Check (Employee) is required for this position. Benefits
