About the Role
This hands-on role is responsible for driving safety initiatives and ensuring compliance across a single-site operation . Reporting to the Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will provide technical support, compliance oversight, and strategic guidance to operational teams. The position balances on-the-ground engagement with leadership discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the organisation’s safety and wellbeing strategy.
• Ensure compliance with Victorian OH&S legislation, Australian Standards, and industry Codes of Practice.
• Oversee the Safety Management System and contribute to ongoing improvements.
• Assist in risk management, injury prevention strategies, and workplace safety initiatives.
• Provide technical advice and compliance oversight, including managing regulatory requirements.
• Lead and facilitate safety audits, training programs, and leadership coaching.
• Engage with site teams to foster a strong safety culture.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety performance.

• Location: Bendigo Region
• Salary: Up to $105,000 + Super
• Reporting to: Safety & Wellbeing Manager
• Industry: Food production, agriculture
