ABOUT THE POSITION
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for developing cost plans, managing tender processes, and analysing project budgets. You will liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive pricing for high-end fit-out and new build developments.
DUTIES
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, tenders, and project budgets.
- Analyse supplier and subcontractor pricing for accuracy and competitiveness.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Contracts Administrators to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Monitor market trends and construction costs to ensure competitive pricing strategies.
- Assist in value engineering and risk analysis for project proposals.
- 3+ years’ experience in estimating within commercial fit-out and new build projects.
- Strong understanding of procurement, tendering, and cost planning.
- Ability to review and interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
