Key Responsibilities:
- Implements job tasks to comply with specifications by studying product design, customer requirements and budget.
- Confirms product or system performance by designing and conducting tests.
- Design layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local standards & regulations.
- Design, program, troubleshoot, upgrade and maintain Power Control Systems.
- Maintains a high level of knowledge of SCADA software and PLC operations.
- Design, implementation & testing of Energy Management Systems (EMS) using electrical hardware, including; Power meters, Communication Gateways, PLCs & RTUs.
- Design, implementation & commissioning of Power Control and Monitoring Systems (PCMS) using software applications including SCADA.
- Onsite control system installation, commissioning and operational support.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of SCADA/RTU/PLC experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- A collaborative mindset that thrives in a multidisciplinary team and fostering a quality-driven environment
- Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics or other relevant qualification
- Experience with Ignition, SEL (RTAC), Codesys (IEC 61131) (Highly Desirable)
