About the opportunity:
Northern Honda has an opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join our team.
This reception role will see you being the first point of contact for all clients. We are seeking someone who can provide front of house support, efficient communication with our clients in a professional and friendly manner, whilst enjoying the benefits of varied work and team support. You will be a very important part of the team, so we need someone with great communication skills.
In this critical role you will be responsible for a variety of functions:
• First point of contact for all customers and visitors, providing first class hospitality and greeting in a professional and engaging manner both face-to-face and over the phone
• Administration duties – including distribution of mail, ordering supplies, service banking and assisting other departments as required.
• Setting and maintaining a high level of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the dealership
What you’ll bring:
• Professional & excellent customer service experience.
• A mature and positive “can do attitude”
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
• Strong PC skills
• A switched-on person who is good at multi-tasking
• Strong attention to detail
• Calm & measured under pressure
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Reliability an absolute must
• A commitment to providing the highest levels of customer service
• A willingness for continuous improvement and learning
• Experience in a similar role or within the hospitality industry.
Experience in a similar role within the automotive industry is preferred but not essential. What you do need is a solid work ethic, a positive attitude and a passion for achieving excellence.
