About the Role
An opportunity exists for a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist or Clinical Nurse Consultant A-B to join the multidisciplinary Continence Team. We are looking for someone who can work between 16 – 32 hours per week. This fixed term position runs until 30.6.25. You will be responsible for the assessment and management strategies for clients referred with specific continence problems. The service receives referrals from diverse sources including the community, and specialist clinics at St Vincent’s Fitzroy including Urology and Colorectal.
Classifications for this position will range from classification ranges:
Physiotherapist Grade 3 (VB7 - VC1) - $102,091 - $116,646 per annum, pro rata or
Clinical Nurse Consultant (ZF4 - ZJ4) - $113,360 - $119,329 per annum, pro rata
Your Contribution

Experience in an area of continence is preferred

Post Graduate Qualification in relevant field

Highly developed assessment, delivery of conservative interventions, and case managements skills

Organisational planning and problem-solving skills

A demonstrated sound knowledge of current evidence – based practices in the area of continence assessment, management, and evaluation

Highly developed interpersonal skills including excellent communication and leadership skills

Demonstrated ability to work alone or within an interdisciplinary team

About the department
The Continence Clinic provides specialist assessment and management of both urinary and faecal incontinence to people over 16 years of age in the geographical areas of the Cities of Darebin, Yarra and Boroondara and Melbourne. It is a multidisciplinary clinic consisting if nurses, physiotherapist, geriatricians, and admin staff. The service is based at St George’s Hospital – Kew.
