Most roles fit our office-first hybrid approach which includes working 3 days in the office and the choice to work 2 days in the office or remotely, depending on what is best for that work day. This maximizes in person collaboration and interaction while simultaneously providing flexibility. This broad universal approach applies to most roles globally with a few exceptions that require more or less time in the office. The Opportunity
Beginning in January 2026, the graduate program offers rotations in either our Investments division or Global Client Group. During the 24-month program you will have the opportunity to work with some of the following departments:
- Portfolio Management
- Trading
- Client Services and Sales
- Operations
The program offers broad investments exposure across DFA and the opportunity to witness firsthand the functionality of a global investment firm. This will allow you to develop foundational knowledge, professional skill and networks. Graduates in the program are fully supported by management and mentors throughout the rotations. During your rotational journey you will collaborate with teams across the firm both locally and globally. Your daily tasks will be challenging and varied depending on the department in which you sit. Your responsibilities include delivering operational support and assisting with analysis, problem solving, reporting and research.
There are two positions available and both roles are based in our Sydney office.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- We welcome all degree disciplines - you will need to be fully degree qualified by the end of 2025. You must demonstrate excellent academic achievement.
- Excel in extra-curricular activities, internships and work experience
- Interest in financial markets and an understanding of Dimensional’s investment philosophy
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail oriented, with the ability to think in a structured and analytical manner
- Able to work equally well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to absorb and apply information from formal and informal learning experiences
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn new programs
