About the Role

Do you have experience in providing tax advisory and tax compliance services in a professional services environment and are looking for a role where you can make your mark in Corporate/International Tax? Do you have a background and professional qualification in Accounting and/or Law (tax)?

BDO has an opportunity available for an experienced Senior Tax Manager in its Corporate & International Tax team based in Parramatta. Our large and dynamic tax practice operates across Australia and offers access to premium clients and work. You will be part of a collaborative team that takes an holistic approach to tax advisory work, covering all aspects of the Australian and international tax spectrum. You will be involved in providing advisory and/or compliance services to our clients ranging from medium sized clients to household multinational brand names. As a result, you can expect to:
• work in an inclusive environment as part of a great team;

• perform tax advisory and tax compliance work; and
• work closely with Partners and other Directors across key client matters.

About you

To be successful you should have the following:
• 6-8 years' Australian tax experience gained from working in the tax practice of a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm or law firm, or other relevant corporate background.
• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Law (Taxation).
• Solid research, writing and analytical skills with an interest to develop these further.
• A collaborative, innovative and inclusive working style.
• Be open to new ways of thinking, a new approach and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills & a passion for tax!
