This role offers the opportunity to influence procurement policy, optimise supplier relationships, and support organisational growth in a compliance-focused environment.
We are seeking a motivated Contracts and Procurement Business Partner to provide expert advice, manage contracts, and deliver procurement services. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance procurement processes and ensure compliance with legislation.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead procurement process improvements aligned with business needs.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on procurement policies and procedures.
- Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance and supplier performance.
- Maintain procurement documentation and adherence to regulations.
- Develop procurement policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Conduct risk analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
- Support financial reporting, including contract budget monitoring.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Experience managing procurement projects, including acquisition plans and tender documentation.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management.
- Negotiation skills for favourable commercial outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
- Experience with procurement management systems (e.g., PARS).
- Knowledge of PSSA policies and SA Public Sector procurement legislation.
- Experience developing policies for audit compliance.
