Casual opportunity for a trainer and assessor to join our InterCare team.
Seeking assessors with a minimum qualification and currency in CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support In addition, one of the following qualifications would be of high advantage:
  • CHC43015 Certificate IV in Ageing Support
  • CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health

Job Description
We are seeking a passionate assessor to join our team casually commencing 15 hours a week with the intention to build on hours over time. The hours can be flexible and based on coordination with students on WP and their availability.
This role requires travel to provide support to students on placement, conduct WP visits and complete WP assessments. The successful applicant will be a great communicator and committed to student outcomes, emphasising customer service. You will have sound industry knowledge, experience and vocational currency.
If you hold CHC43415 Certificate IV in Leisure and Health - we are also seeking a trainer who is available to conduct an evening class 2 nights per week. Permanent shifts available immediately!
To be successful in this role you will possess a high level of organisational skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a supportive team environment. You are organised and have great time management and attention to detail, emphasising student experience, engagement and satisfaction.

  • Professional and reliable
  • Ability to manage own schedule and ensure outcomes are met to a high standard
  • Undertake assessment for students on work placement
  • Valid drivers license & reliable car
  • Maintain and ensure a high standard of student support
  • Ensure quality and compliance in all delivery
    Selection Criteria:
    • Suitable industry-related vocational qualification/s with current industry experience
    • Minimum TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or its successor)
    • Ability to obtain clean Police Check, Working with Children's Check & NDIS checks
