About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage the company’s technology infrastructure and digital operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring effective communication, robust system security, and the optimal performance of IT services, software applications and operational hardware.
In addition, the IT Manager will play a key role in identifying, implementing, and modernising the company’s IT business systems, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency. The position will also manage key vendor relationships and the IT budgets as well as managing help desk and hardware support, while maintaining and developing IT documentation, policies, and procedures to framework.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven strong experience leading an IT function in a similar size business with a hands-on approach.
- Strong understanding of business requirements with a customer service orientation and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholder.
- Extensive and practical working knowledge of network and system administration, cyber security, cloud computing and database management.
- Proven ability to lead IT projects and to deliver these on time, on budget whilst meeting their objectives.
- Proficiency in securing IT environments, mitigation of risks and raising level of business awareness.
- High level of self-motivation, initiative and adaptability with a focus on quality outcomes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with cross functional teams.
- Effective planning, time management and a focus on meeting deadlines.
