Purchasing & Stores Officer
Darwin
St John Ambulance Australia (NT) Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Purchasing & Stores Officer in Darwin. The role is essential in managing the organisation’s stock efficiently, ensuring goods are available and delivered on time to various departments and locations.
Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate records and documentation for stock control.
- Process invoices for received stock and manage purchase orders.
- Conduct inventory control, including stock takes and supplier liaison.
- Source and procure products and services while managing unexpected stock shortages.
- Manage supplier and customer relationships, including handling enquiries.
- Deliver stock as directed by management.
Qualifications and Skills:

- Warehousing and Logistics qualifications or equivalent experience (desirable).
- Previous experience in administration and stores management.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills for stock and financial processing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, and financial software (SAGE Intacct experience desirable).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- Forklift Licence and an unrestricted NT Driver’s Licence.
- Ochre Card (Working with Children) or willingness to obtain.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination status.
- National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.
