The position:
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes for banquets and buffets with impeccable plating.
- Adhere to allergen safety protocols, ensuring safe food options for clients with sensitivities.
- Maintain strict food safety standards from preparation to delivery.
- Lead banquet and buffet service, delivering visually stunning and delicious food.
- Coordinate with the Central Production Unit (CPU) and ensure safe delivery to event sites.
- Collaborate with event planners, front-of-house teams, and clients to ensure seamless service and satisfaction.
The Person:
- Proven experience as a Chef, particularly in high-end banquet, buffet, or catering environments.
- Extensive knowledge of food allergens and safety protocols.
- Expertise in food presentation, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and deliver consistently excellent results.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- A passion for fine food and an ability to think creatively to enhance food offerings.
- Flexibility to work in various settings and adapt to different client requirements.
Additional Requirements:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Valid food safety certification
- National police check
