Mater Foundation is seeking a skilled and experienced Data and Reporting Analyst to join our team! This 12-month maximum-term, full-time role will be based at our Newstead campus.

What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilise data from various sources, including Enterprise Data Warehouse, data lake, cloud platforms, digital analytics, and marketing platforms, to build custom reports and dashboards using Power BI. You will work closely with the Marketing team to develop data briefs and provide data extracts for targeted campaigns. Your responsibilities will also include creating segmentation models, data visualizations, propensity modelling and storytelling to improve campaign performance.
Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering ad hoc reporting and analysis requests, development and maintenance of data models and reporting outputs to ensure ongoing accuracy and reliability of business insights.
About you
To be successful in this position, you should have a degree in an appropriate field or equivalent relevant experience. You should also have:
- 2-3 years of experience in analytics and insight, with hands-on experience in Power BI and DAX.
- Experience with business intelligence/analytics tools and data modelling is essential, along with proficiency in SQL coding and optimisation.
- Knowledge of the Modern Azure BI Stack and familiarity with digital analytics solutions, such as Google Analytics, would be advantageous.
- Technical proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Python, ETL processes, Azure/Cloud infrastructure, machine learning/predictive analytics, and API integration
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Reliability, time management, attention to detail and organisational skills are essential requirements for this role.
