With a new contract commencing in early 2025, we currently have Full time Catering Supervisor role to join the Spotless team. Spotless, as a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, will be responsible for preparing and serving culturally diverse, nutritious meals contributing to the overall health and well-being of those in the centres.

The role has a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations with key responsibilities outlined below:

  • Supervising Catering Assistant to guarantee cleanliness in service areas
  • Coordinating with Chefs/Head Chefs daily to ensure catering assistant produce and maintain supply of food
  • Ensure compliance with the HACCP Food Safety Plan, monitoring food safety standards and practices, maintaining hygiene in food preparation areas, and completing all Food Safety Documentation accurately and timely.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is operated following safe work procedures, maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Assist with food stock takes and audit procedures as required

What you’ll bring

  • Must have Cert II – Kitchen Operations or higher
  • Food Safety Certificates
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Full understanding of HACCP Food Safety guidelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
