We are looking for an experienced and passionate Intermediate Accountant (at least 2 years’ experience) with strong analytical skills to assist in making a difference to our client’s lives.

The Role:

You will:
- Be part of an innovative team that offers clients a full range of services to help you navigate the complexities of business.
- Be the main point of contact for your own portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of service
- Be responsible for the management, development, and administration of a portfolio of clients under the direction of your supervisor with a strong focus on compliance.
- Be technically proficient and up to date with developments in taxation law and relevant accounting standards, systems, and processes and apply this through the preparation and review of compliance tasks.
- Assist with providing feedback and guidance to junior staff, readily sharing your expertise with colleagues.
- Be responsible for managing your own workflow under the direction of their Supervisor, including the planning, delegation, and the review of allocated jobs.
- Have access to PTP’s full suite of services, including Business Advisory, Financial Planning and Bookkeeping, to ensure your clients are 100% supported.

Selection criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Has experience in being both task-focused but see strategically for the client
- Must have a professional approach and the ability to self-manage and identify matters that require action and complete either by self or through delegation to the team
- Proven history of demonstrating a strong client focus along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
