About the role
As a Data Architect at Barwon Water, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining our data models and architecture to enable data driven solutions and ensuring seamless integration across our systems. Your expertise in data will see you implement a range of data governance policies that are best practice and emphasise data quality.
As a data native, you will support evaluation of new data solutions and monitor data standards, optimizing the scalability of our databases to ensure volume can be handled efficiently. Responsible for consolidating data you will collaborate with data engineers and the integration team to realise technical solutions.
You will help ensure the integration of data sources with a cross functional team to support data standards, while continuously improving data workflows to meet the evolving needs our customers and community.
About you
You will be a data guru, someone who thrives building frameworks for how data is stored and integrates with various systems. Providing opportunity to grow, you will be part of a broader team that includes engineers and integration specialists.
With an inquisitive mind and natural curiosity, you will constantly have an eye to emerging trends and technologies, to support modernising our data handling processes.
With qualifications in Information Technology and certifications in data fields, your experience in data architecture and governance will be challenged, as you continue your career path.
