The 1860 has just undergone a HUGE renovation to the entire hotel with a BRAND-NEW state of the art kitchen, a BRAND NEW outdoor Italian Pizza oven kitchen for our spectacular beer garden, 3 new bars and an incredible bistro.
The kitchen team is made up of highly experienced and motivated individuals who have built a great working culture and fun environment.
Looking for an experienced Head Chef or high performing Sous Chef who is going to bring energy and leadership to the team.
The 1860 is part of a group of hotels operated by a young family who are looking to expand their hotel footprint.
Qualifications & experience
Min 5 years Chef/Cook experience
Strong communicator and leader
Tasks & responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the kitchen/s.
Mentor and guide aspiring chefs and cooks.
Working and liaising with suppliers.
Menu creation and development.
Partner the business in a growth period.
Showcase your cooking talents and coach/educate chefs/cooks within your team.
