We are excited to offer the role of a Financial Analyst.
This role will report to a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager and will support commercial teams within ANZ on delivering financial business outcomes that include month end closing, forecasting, budget forecasting, commission calculations and other commercial support functions to the Australia and New Zealand business.
This role follows our hybrid work arrangement of working at least 3 days in office (from either of our NSW work sites - Warriewood or Surry Hills) and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the FP&A Manager on month end close and reporting for ANZ business. Reviewing Advertising and Promotions spent, reconciliation of Commission accounts and other account reconciliation.
- Support on the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process generating reports and partnering the team on Risk and Opps tracking
- Budget and Forecasting support for ANZ business ensuring all budgets are submitted and prepared with key strategic alignment. Implementing and monitoring any Budget Adjustments.
- Act as the commercial finance business partner for NZ and provide all necessary budgeting, forecasting and reporting support.
- Delivering Business Performance Review and Integrated Business Review reports and packs to the wider ANZ business on a monthly basis.
- Conduct details single key unit (SKU) analysis for the marketing team to support margin improvement initiatives and identify SKU mix opportunities.

Who are you?
- A bachelor's degree in accounting and preferably a CPA or CA qualified accountant (or nearing completion)
- Prior 2-3 years of work experience in financial or commercial analyst work in a similar industry or from FMCG, pharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing
- Digital native or have prior experience using JDE/Oracle Cloud, PowerBI, Excel Analytics / Advanced Excel and TM1 (for IBP planning and analytics work)
- Able to display strong communication skills dealing cross functionally as they are many cross functional collaboration opportunities.
