Downer is the lead contractor providing Estate Maintenance and Operation Services for the Department of Defence in Queensland and Southern New South Wales. As lead contractor within the region we deliver a suite of services to support Defence capability. These services include Performance Based Maintenance, Scheduled Maintenance, Responsive Maintenance, Minor New Works and Estate Appraisal.
About your role
We are looking for a committed and highly organized Part time Administrator to assist with the planning and scheduling to ensure responsive maintenance targets & compliance are met. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager , your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintain Asset register
- Manage and delegate group mailboxes
- Take ownership of tasks to ensure timely completion and reporting
- Administration support including payroll queries and adjustments
- Assist with work order management of managed planned and reactive work orders
- Goods receipting, invoice receipting, and processing subcontractor invoices
- Finalising and amending audits
- Assisting service line coordinators with payroll queries and adjustments
About you
To be considered for this role, you will have extensive experience in a similar Administration role, ideally with an understanding of scheduling/programming.
Other skills and experience required include:
- Extensive experience in using computer-based systems
- Problem solving skills, with a basic understanding of Quality Assurance control & Management system procedures
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise your work to meet strict deadlines
- Good written and oral communication, interpersonal and client relationships
- Australia Citizenship (Essential)
