Where you will be working:
The Executive Assistant to Deputy Director of Nursing, Medical and Interventional services is located at the John Hunter Hospital in the Royal Newcastle Centre (RNC) Executive Administration Office Suite.
What you will be doing:
This position will have varied tasks across the day and week and requires an individual who is proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Task may include:
Administrative Support – Manage diaries, travel, payroll, correspondence, and general office tasks.
Workflow & Task Coordination – Prioritise and oversee administrative activities to ensure timely completion.
Document & Report Preparation – Draft and review reports, correspondence, and official documents.
Meeting Coordination – Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and arrange conferencing.
Customer Service & Compliance – Handle inquiries and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.

The successful candidate for this position will have a can-do attitude, will be adaptable in an ever-changing environment and will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work both within a team and autonomously.
Training and Support:
The successful candidate will receive a comprehensive handover and will have the opportunity to attend orientation and complete education modules within My Health Learning.
An annual performance review will be conducted with the Administration Manager to maintain, develop and advance in areas pertinent to the position.
