About the role
The role of Finance Officer is integral in effectively supporting the financial operations of Murray Irrigation, and involves providing financial and administrative support, supporting the finance team with various tasks and providing backup support across various finance functions.
This role will support (but is not limited to) project and operational cost reporting, journal processing, end of month processes, general ledger reconciliations, and backup support may include support for management accounts, general ledger, bank reconciliations, credit card processing, weekly water exchange seller payment processing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
This is an ongoing, full time position based in our Deniliquin office. Part-time employment may be considered for the right candidate.
The perfect candidate
Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and ability to self-manage and prioritise your workload, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, while looking for new challenges plus learnings and development within the financial field.
You hold a relevant qualification in accounting or bookkeeping or have previous experience in a similar role. The ability to use Microsoft Office Programs is essential and accounting software experience especially Pronto is advantageous. This role will require effective communication skills through a variety of mediums including collaboration and consultation with key internal stakeholders.

Salary Range
$65,000 - $70,000
