About the Position
Protest CMT, part of the PTG Group, are seeking a passionate Laboratory Assistant on a full-time basis to join our team based in Ormeau on the Gold Coast. You will be responsible for performing general administrative duties directly relating to the smooth running of the Gold Coast laboratory.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Fee Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing detailed fee proposals for clients. Training will be provided to ensure accuracy and efficiency in proposal generation.
- Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients via email and phone, addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Administrative Support: Perform general administrative duties, including document preparation, filing, data entry, and other tasks to support the laboratory’s smooth operation.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate testing schedules and support the team in managing appointments and deadlines.
- Record-Keeping: Ensure all client communications and project details are accurately documented and filed for future reference.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the laboratory team and management to ensure client needs are met and operations run smoothly.
About You:
You will have administrative experience and are driven to make improvements and add value to a team. Ideally you will have:
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong knowledge and ability to use MS Office, Outlook and Teams.
- Great attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to prioritise and muti-task.
- The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
