We are looking for a H&S Officer to be apart of Safety Group here at PWR, you will contribute and lead safety initiatives across our manufacturing site.
You will be responsible for:
- Promoting a positive safety culture across the organisation.
- Stakeholder and relationship management, internally and externally.
- Conduct regular inspections of the workplace and relevant equipment.
- Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Effectively address employee safety concerns and escalate as needed.
- Coordinate emergency procedures, fire wardens and first aid officers.
- Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on the status of WH&S programs.
- Monitor correct use of PPE.
- Support injury management and early intervention.
- Ideally you will bring experience in ISO45001.
- Strong understanding of the latest health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage deadlines.
- First Aid certificate.
- Valid drivers’ licence.
- Experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
- Team player.
