We are looking for a H&S Officer to be apart of Safety Group here at PWR, you will contribute and lead safety initiatives across our manufacturing site.

You will be responsible for:

• Promoting a positive safety culture across the organisation.
• Stakeholder and relationship management, internally and externally.
• Conduct regular inspections of the workplace and relevant equipment.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Effectively address employee safety concerns and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate emergency procedures, fire wardens and first aid officers.
• Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on the status of WH&S programs.
• Monitor correct use of PPE.
• Support injury management and early intervention.

• Ideally you will bring experience in ISO45001.
• Strong understanding of the latest health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage deadlines.
• First Aid certificate.
• Valid drivers’ licence.
• Experience in a similar role or relevant qualifications.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Team player.
