Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all human resource functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring that our HR strategies align with Finncare's mission and values. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is a key leadership role and will suit someone ready to progress in their HR career.
Key Responsibilities:HR Strategy Development: Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with the organisation's goals and culture.Culture & Engagement: develop strategies and plans to proactively build and maintain a positive workplace culture that is aligned to our values.Recruitment and Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with all employment laws.Performance Management: Manage employee performance and development, including conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and feedback.Training and Development: Develop and implement employee training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively and in compliance with industry requirements.Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including investigations and resolution of employee complaints.Compliance: Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Key Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.Experience: 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably within the aged care or healthcare sector.Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and implement HR strategies and programs.Leadership: Experience managing and developing a team.Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills.
