Warehouse Assembly Store Person(s) - Permanent Part Time (20 & 25 hours per week)
We have two rare opportunities to join our Launceston warehouse team:
• Morning Shift: 05:30am - 10:30 (25 hours).
These shifts are for Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday morning shift work as required. This work is ideal for people who take pride in their work and enjoy a regular fast paced routine. You must possess excellent time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks throughout the shift. Work is conducted within a small team with the bigger picture in mind and requires excellent planning and communication skills, good interpersonal skills, some computer knowledge, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods, as well as the replenishment of stock to shelves.
This fast paced complex role covers the following core duties:
• Adherence to and champion OH&S.
• Day to day goal setting to achieve the workload within the allotted timeframes.
• Managing the workflow of order pickers.
• Assembly of customer orders.
• Staging assembled orders for loading in to vehicles to be conducted by the delivery drivers.
• Working in a team to achieve pre-determined delivery vehicle dispatch ready times.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the role is key to the warehouse’s performance, customer satisfaction and productivity.

Warehousing and FMCG experience is not essential but the successful applicant must show:
• Adherence and championing of OH&S in the workplace.
• Physical fitness necessary for repetitive manual handling of up to 15kg for parts of the shift.
• Eye for detail, quality assurance mindset and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong time management and the ability to work in a team and autonomously is a must.
• Experience in complex warehouse environments and any higher education would be highly regarded.
