Who are we looking for?
Are you passionate about making a difference and supporting those in need? We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Intake and Administration Officer to join our Suicide Prevention team.
In this rewarding role, you will play a critical part in providing support to individuals and families impacted by suicide, while also ensuring the smooth operation of administrative systems.
This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31st December 2025 with possible extension (funding dependant).

Our team provides essential support to those impacted by suicide across the Adelaide metropolitan and Hills region, offering a lifeline to those who need it most. As part of AnglicareSA, you will be joining an organisation committed to creating positive change, empowering individuals, and fostering community well-being.
What can you expect to be doing?
- Initial assessments to determine eligibility to various programs, ensuring that individuals are connected with the right services
- Complete all Intake and Assessment documentation, ensuring accurate records are kept to help guide the delivery of effective services
- Liaise with various stakeholders to obtain sufficient information for the referral assessment process
- Collaborate with program staff and managers to ensure the smooth flow of administrative functions
What do you need to bring?
- Administration experience, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proven ability to handle phone and email enquiries, client difficulties and conflict situations
- A passion for helping others, particularly in a sensitive and supportive environment
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent experience in Community Services
- ASIST Training (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) or a willingness to complete this essential course
