What You'll Be Doing

The Administration Supervisor provides a range of administrative and clerical support services to enable the Community Assessment Unit at Prince of Wales Hospital to achieve its objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.

The position reports to the Administration Services Manager and works with the Nurse Unit Manager to provide team leadership and to ensure a high quality, customer-focused service is provided for clients, patients, colleagues and visitors.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support in a demanding outpatient environment.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate and work with a range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and monitor workflow.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers including scheduler/eMR, IPM and standard office software packages and the ability to learn new systems as required.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining and role modelling a high standard of professional conduct and confidentiality.
