About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated Administration Officer to join the friendly and supportive team at St Vincent’s Hospital’s busy Day Procedure Centre (DPC) . As a major tertiary referral center, St Vincent’s offers a dynamic and innovative work environment focused on providing excellent care to Day Only Patients, Day of Surgery patients, and inpatients requiring procedures in our Endoscopy Suite, Operating Rooms, and Interventional Services.

Reception & Patient Support: Be the first point of contact for patients, offering top-tier customer service, managing enquiries, and ensuring a smooth experience at every step of their journey.

Efficient Patient Management: Handle admissions, discharges, and transfers with precision using our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, ensuring all patient data is up-to-date and accurate.

Comprehensive Record-Keeping: Collate essential patient admission paperwork and medical records, maintaining confidentiality and organization to support patient care.

Scheduling & Waitlist Coordination: Manage patient bookings and waitlist scheduling , ensuring timely and efficient appointments for all procedures and services.

Data Entry & Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with multiple departments, performing general administrative duties and entering data accurately into TMS, and COREPAS to ensure smooth operations.

Customer Service Excellence: The ideal candidate will have outstanding customer service skills, ensuring every patient interaction is positive, informative, and supportive.

Proficiency with Technology: Y ou should have experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to adapt to new technologies .
