You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio with clients ranging from some of the largest private groups in Australia to small and medium-cap ASX listed companies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining excellent client engagement and relationships
- Working directly with tax partners to provide a broad range of value adding advice across a range of taxes
- Preparation and/or review of Private Binding Rulings
- Review of Tax Effect Accounting Calculations and Consolidated Income Tax Returns
- Review of Fringe Benefit Tax Returns
- Review of quarterly tax update sides
- Assistance with the preparation of R&D tax incentive applications
- Assisting in delivery of technical training
- Consulting to various internal divisions regarding taxation matters
We are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
- Experience in tax/accounting experience working with business clients
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player attitude and ability to form relationships easily
- High-level of professionalism, enthusiasm and conscientiousness
- Hold or be studying toward a Chartered Accountant qualification
