About the Role
As our Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be required to:
- Report to the Sales and Marketing Executive
- Manage a team of diamond merchants and marketing professionals
- Consult one on one with clients.
- Educate clients on the different characteristics of diamonds and precious gemstones including the 4 C's.
- Assist clients with designing their bespoke jewellery items.
- Provide sales support to the Senior Diamond Merchant.
- Provide an exceptional experience for all clients.
- Manage the overall customer experience process from the initial consultation through to the post-purchase customer follow up.
- Manage client communication throughout their Affinity journey.
- Build strong repeat business.
- May be required to assist with sourcing diamonds and precious gemstones.
- Work to individual KPIs and budgets.
- Willing to work weekends.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote Affinity Diamonds and
- attract high-end clientele.
- Oversee social media, digital marketing, and content creation, ensuring
- consistent brand messaging across platforms.
- Plan and manage advertising, PR activities, and brand partnerships to
- enhance market presence.
- Organise luxury events and product launches to engage new and existing
- customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, media outlets, and
- strategic partners.
Skills, personality traits and experience
- GIA qualifications would be highly desirable.
- Immaculate personal presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Must have an understanding of diamonds and gemstones.
- Must have a good understanding of the 4Cs of diamond quality.
- Must have an outgoing personality with a proactive attitude towards the business.
- Organised nature with a willingness to learn.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- A high level of initiative and tenacity in addition to sales drive.
- Be willing to assist different departments when required.
- A proven track record of retail sales experience within either premium jewellery or high-end luxury goods
